You’d think that after almost ten years living in the Czech Republic I would already be immune to snow and its charm but no, I’m still like a kid who would wait  and wait some more for the first snowfall of winter.  I guess it’s one of those little things in life that will never get old for me.

There’s just something special about waking up in the morning,  looking at the window and seeing everything blanketed in snow especially when you didn’t expect it to happen anytime soon.  Up until today, the winter weather in the CZ was so weird.  The trees right outside our apartment were blooming  and Christmas day was warm like Easter.

But it finally happened this morning.  I got up still groggy from sleep, opened the blinds and was greeted with a beautiful sight.  Oh hello, snow!  Happiness and joy always tag along with you!
