Winter mornings in Prague. You wake up to such beauty and few hours later, the beauty turns to muddy. The temperature doesn't stay below zero through the day. It goes up to sometimes 7°C which is "warm" for January. We make jokes at how the kids here will soon watch the snowfall only on smartboards. Judging at how their eyes are glued on the screen these days and how global warming is so real, this joke sounds scary and not funny at all.New Year's eve dinner at home. Still flooding my feed with Christmas photos because despite the heartaches brought by 2018 and the uncertainties of 2019, Adi and I still managed to enjoy the Christmas season. Back to the daily grind tomorrow. Back to stress, challenges and the constant choice of finding happiness in the little things.Happy New Year from Prague! One of them is always having food on the table. I remember this homeless man who asked me if I had 2 crowns to spare when I was waiting for the bus a few months ago. I asked him what would he do with 2 crowns as it's almost nothing. He said it's not nothing for him. For him it means being able to buy two bread rolls to eat. As we feasted on the cheeses, cookies and all the premium quality foods we can afford, I wondered how many went to bed with a growling stomach on Christmas eve?Gahuwat ko sa lechon gika'g Cebu pero wa man ning abot. Mag handum nalang ta ani sa kanunay. Ing ani ka simple ang handa diri ig sugat sa pasko.
